About Me

I began teaching just before finishing my doctoral degree in 2000. Since then, I’ve been teaching statistics and research courses at the graduate level as well as serving on dissertation committees as methodologist/statistician.  My own research centers on exploring ways to lessen students’ anxiety surrounding statistics and research, which has helped inform my teaching.  I find great satisfaction in helping others conduct their research and analyze their data, and in my off-time I enjoy puttering in my kitchen, running, and spending time with my family.
